Het dashboard laat je content van sociale platforms direct in je liveblog halen. Elk platform heeft een eigen tabblad in de rechter zijbalk van de blog-editor.

Beschikbare platforms

Afhankelijk van je abonnement kunnen de volgende tabbladen beschikbaar zijn in de zijbalk:

  • RSS — artikelen ophalen uit RSS/Atom-feeds. Toont titel, fragment, afbeelding en bronlink.
  • YouTube — video's zoeken op trefwoord of kanaal. Thumbnails, titels, duur bekijken.
  • Facebook — posts ophalen van een gekoppelde Facebook-pagina.
  • Instagram — posts ophalen van een gekoppeld Instagram Business-account.

Compacte weergave

Alle social-tabbladen gebruiken een compacte kaartlay-out:

  • Thumbnail — klein preview-afbeelding of videoframe
  • Titel — klikbaar, opent de originele post/video
  • Meta — bron, datum, duur (YouTube)
  • Acties — knop Toevoegen aan liveblog voegt een gestylede embed-kaart direct in je posteditor in

De zijbalk blijft overzichtelijk en je kunt snel door veel items scannen.

Sociale content toevoegen aan je liveblog

  1. Open de Social-zijbalk in de blog-editor (rechts).
  2. Klik het tabblad van het platform dat je wilt (RSS, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram).
  3. Als er een template-keuzemenu getoond wordt, kies de social template die je wilt gebruiken (elke template is gekoppeld aan een specifieke feed, kanaal of account).
  4. Klik op Vernieuwen (⟳) om de laatste items op te halen.
  5. Zoek het item dat je wilt en klik op Toevoegen aan liveblog (of het + icoontje).
  6. Een gestylede embed-kaart wordt op je cursorpositie in de editor ingevoegd.
  7. Ga door met schrijven of publiceer/plan de post.

Tussen templates wisselen

Als er meerdere templates geconfigureerd zijn voor een platform (bijv. verschillende RSS-feeds voor verschillende onderwerpen), gebruik dan het template-keuzemenu in de zijbalk om ertussen te wisselen. De lijst ververst automatisch.

Tips

  • RSS: De widget cached feeds voor enkele minuten — klik Vernieuwen om een update te forceren. Je kunt meerdere RSS-items in één post embedden.
  • YouTube: Zoek op trefwoord, kanaalnaam, of plak een directe vide-URL. De embed-kaart toont de videospeler inline in de liveblog.
  • Facebook/Instagram: Alleen posts van gekoppelde accounts verschijnen. Als de lijst leeg is, check met je beheerder of het account correct gekoppeld is.

Hulp nodig?

  • Geen items zichtbaar? Klik op Vernieuwen, of verifieer met je beheerder dat er een social template geconfigureerd is voor dit platform.
  • Template ontbreekt? Neem contact op met je beheerder — social templates worden ingesteld in de dashboard-instellingen.
  • Styling klopt niet? De st_template-parameter in de embed-code van je blog bepaalt hoe social embeds eruitzien op je website.

The dashboard lets you add content from social platforms directly into your live blog. Each platform appears as a tab in the right sidebar of the blog editor.

Available platforms

Depending on your subscription, the following tabs may be available in the sidebar:

  • RSS — fetch articles from RSS/Atom feeds. Shows title, excerpt, image, and source link.
  • YouTube — search videos by keyword or channel. Preview thumbnails, titles, durations.
  • Facebook — fetch posts from a connected Facebook Page.
  • Instagram — fetch posts from a connected Instagram Business account.

Compact view

All social tabs use a compact card layout:

  • Thumbnail — small preview image or video frame
  • Title — clickable, opens the original post/video
  • Meta — source, date, duration (YouTube)
  • Actions — Add to live blog button inserts a styled embed card directly into your post editor

This keeps the sidebar clean and lets you scan many items quickly.

How to add social content to your live blog

  1. Open the Social sidebar in the blog editor (right side).
  2. Click the tab for the platform you want (RSS, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram).
  3. If a template selector is shown, choose the social template you want to use (each template connects to a specific feed, channel, or account).
  4. Click Refresh (⟳) to fetch the latest items.
  5. Find the item you want and click Add to live blog (or the + icon).
  6. A styled embed card is inserted at your cursor position in the editor.
  7. Continue writing or publish/schedule the post.

Switching between templates

If multiple templates are configured for a platform (e.g., different RSS feeds for different topics), use the template dropdown in the sidebar to switch between them. The list refreshes automatically.

Tips

  • RSS: The widget caches feeds for a few minutes — click Refresh to force an update. You can embed multiple RSS items in one post.
  • YouTube: Search by keyword, channel name, or paste a direct video URL. The embed card shows the video player inline in the live blog.
  • Facebook/Instagram: Only posts from connected accounts appear. If the list is empty, check with your administrator that the account is linked correctly.

Need help?

  • No items showing? Click Refresh, or verify with your administrator that a social template is configured for this platform.
  • Template missing? Contact your administrator — social templates are set up in the dashboard settings.
  • Styling not right? The st_template parameter in your blog's embed code controls how social embeds look on your website.
